Within Know Your Customer (KYC), we see it as our goal to build a safe society by detecting and preventing financial crime. As analysts we contribute by being experts on our data: we identify risks, we provide insights and we build dashboards for our processes. The processes we support are related to Customer Due Diligence: onboarding, periodic reviews and event driven reviews.
 

Your role

Your role will be supporting our colleagues with your analytical skills. You act as an internal consultant who understands the needs of our stakeholders and provides adequate solutions. Your base is the data and you dare to speak up during decision making. You are curious and motivated to continuously develop yourself. You actively request feedback, but also provide constructive feedback on the work of others. You enjoy working with your data analyst colleagues twice a week at the office (Amsterdam, Cedar building).

We are looking for the following data analyst:

• You hold a Master’s degree showing analytical capability (Mathematics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or alike), or you have equivalent experience working as a data analyst;
• You are analytically strong and are a star in assessing and solving problems, making analyses, and sharing results with impact;
• You have experience with querying languages (e.g., SQL, SAS) and BI tooling (e.g., Cognos);
• You are excited by the description of the role above;
• You have strong communication skills, are a team player and take initiative and ownership;
• You have mastery over the English and Dutch languages (B2/C1: written and spoken) and hold current residency in the Netherlands;
• Pre: you have affinity or experience with KYC or CDD processes;
• Pre: You have knowledge on modelling (dimensional and/or relational)
