Information about the squad:

The main responsibility of an AML Investigator is to review customers' transactional activity to identify unusual or potentially suspicious behaviour and support the detection and prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing.

You don't need to be an AML or Transaction Monitoring expert when you join us. We are looking for people with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, curiosity and a willingness to learn. Previous AML or banking experience can be an advantage, but it is not essential.

We will make sure you are properly prepared for the role. Every new joiner starts with a comprehensive training programme lasting several weeks, followed by practical on-the-job training and support from experienced colleagues. This will help you gradually build the knowledge and skills needed to conduct Transaction Monitoring investigations independently.

Once you gain experience, you will also have opportunities to broaden your responsibilities and contribute to additional activities, such as process improvements, knowledge sharing and other team initiatives.

One of the development opportunities available to permanent employees working in Transaction Monitoring is a dedicated training programme prepared by ACAMS (Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists). The three-step certification programme consists of Anti-Money Laundering Foundations, Sanctions Foundations and Certified Transaction Monitoring Associate.

It is a great opportunity to build your AML knowledge from the ground up and develop your career in financial crime prevention.
