ING
Work along internship: Communications and User adoption of the Microsoft 365 services
Are you up for a challenge? Help us get our internal communications about the ING Digital Workplace future-proof!
Who are we?
We are Workplace Services (WPS): the department that’s responsible for the delivery of IT-related workplace products and services to 54.000 ING colleagues in 40 countries. Think computers, Wi-Fi, software, telephones, and of course the support for all of these.
Role and responsibilities
An important task for Workplace Service is the introduction of new digital workplace tools & features and migrating our services to new, improved versions for all global ING colleagues. We are looking for an intern who can help us set up end user friendly communications for these migrations and introductions.We also help our global colleagues to optimise their way of working with the (Microsoft 365) tools. One way to do this is to create snackable, short content to get their interest.
During your internship you’ll help us create newsletters, online news items on our SharePoint site(s) and other content. You’ll also create emails, write articles for the ING intranet, develop visual aids (such as quick start guides and OnePagers) and you’ll manage our ‘My Workplace community’ on Viva Engage.
Are we looking for you?
We are looking for a communications intern:
with knowledge about how to set up and manage an online community;
who knows that structure is as important as content;
who is creative in finding out and testing new ways to help activate and engage our colleagues;
who likes to think about the best way to get a message across and who likes to write (and visualise) fun, short and desirable content.
Are you that proactive marketing or communications intern who wants to learn the ropes in a diverse and dynamic setting?
If so, you will be part of our Workplace Services team for at least six months, starting in November 2024.
There will be lots of opportunities to try out new ideas! You will help improve our end user communications and make our channels and activities future-proof. Workplace Services is a uniquely pivotal ING department where no day is the same.
