(Junior) Real Estate Specialist Dutch Speaking region North-West Netherlands
Your role and work environment
As a real estate specialist, you serve real estate investors in your region through various channels (face-to-face, via call and social media) and across the full spectrum. The goal is to help these real estate investors be successful and positively surprise them with your expertise every time. You regularly visit real estate investors and work alternately from an advisory branch and from home. Together with the other advisers (Hypotheken, Business Banking, Kantoren, Private Banking and Debt Advisors) you are the face of ING in the market. Since you have product responsibility for the real estate network in the region,
you favour setting up and maintaining good relationships that help achieve the targets. As an adviser, rather than serving a fixed customer portfolio, you have end-to-end responsibility for loan applications between 1 and 5 million. We are looking for a Real Estate Specialist for the North-West region with an active network and who preferably lives in the North-West region.
Specific tasks and responsibilities
- You are a commercial and expert specialist and a standard bearer on lending in the Real Estate Market for small professional investors.
- You are proactive in your contacts and visible and recognisable in the market.
- You generate leads, which you send to other ING segments and RE relationship managers and Business Banking RAT Real Estate advisers, Private Banking etc.
- You are the point of contact in the market for real estate investors with financing requirements between 1 million and 3 million in a specific region and you are the deal captain for the transaction.
- You are a transaction-focused acquisition executive for real estate finance without a permanent customer portfolio and recurrent management activities.
- If you encounter ‘in-life management’ issues, you refer customers to the Super
Circle Real Estate Finance as necessary.
- You give presentations in the working area, explaining the organisation, process and financing opportunities.
- You work intensively with both the sales colleagues at the regional offices and the Remote Advisors, as well as with internal colleagues from other departments, and actively carry out stakeholder management.
- You ensure the right balance between customer interests and bank interests, with duty of care being your starting point.
- You identify possible bottlenecks and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services and processes.
- You take the initiative in keeping up to date with current developments within your field and want to continue to improve yourself.
Specific knowledge and experience
- You have proven experience in providing and managing real estate financing for personal and SME customers.
- You are sales-focused and entrepreneurial.- You have experience in writing (business) credit proposals or proven experience with carrying out financial analyses.
- You are a good multitasker: you work on different financing requests every day.
- You have a Higher Professional Education (HBO) level of professional and intellectual ability.
- You have knowledge of SME credit products and banking services.
- You have highly developed communication skills.
- You are willing to invest in yourself.
- You have a keen eye for developments in the SME sector
- You find it easy to communicate with all levels of the organization, written and verbally, in English and Dutch (formal and informal).
Reporting line and job level classification
The real estate specialist reports hierarchically to the real estate specialists lead. This position is classified at JCF level 9/10.
