Audit Manager - Models (Credit Risk domain)

The expected salary for this position: 17 300 - 30 000 PLN

We are looking for you, if you:
- have strong analytical skills and the drive to challenge models, algorithms and related processes within a complex international financial institution,
- hold an academic degree in audit, followed by specialisation in credit risk modelling, or a degree in a quantitative field (e.g. econometrics, statistics, mathematics or physics),
- have at least 5 years of experience in (auditing) model risk, specifically credit risk modelling across various client segments, and can take a broad, strategic (“bird’s‑eye”) perspective,
- have proven communication, influencing and advisory skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organisation,
- are fluent in English,
- are willing to travel,
- can be present onsite for at least two days a week.
English level - B2
You'll get extra points for:
- audit experience,
- coaching and/or leadership experience,
- hands-on experience with regulatory and non-regulatory credit risk models,
- programming skills in SAS or Python, or experience with XGBoost,
- being organisationally sensitive and effective in conflict management,
- being persuasive, with the ability to get people on board and secure necessary stakeholder buy‑in,
- certification in Audit or Quantitative Risk Management.
Your responsibilities:
- perform model‑related audits, primarily within the risk domain,
- review follow‑up on regulatory and non‑regulatory model‑related improvements,
- contribute to shaping the view on model risk management across risk types,
- engage with stakeholders at various levels,
- support individual and team development.
Information about the squad:
As a Model Risk Auditor, you are part of an international Model Risk Audit team within the global CAS Audit Division for Risk & Finance. CAS is a highly professional organisation with audit teams across the globe and a diverse international workforce of around 400 colleagues. Together with your CAS peers, you provide worldwide coverage on model‑related audits. International audits are performed jointly with local representatives and central model specialists. Working at CAS means operating at the very heart of the ING organisation, with visibility from regulators, external auditors and senior management.
The role of Audit Manager is considered a change‑driving role, meaning you will also help shape audit strategy and actively contribute to the design and execution of audit activities within your area.
