You will be:

  • Executing the data owner’s strategy, ensuring high-quality, secure and well-managed data for all Trade products.
  • Ensuring compliance with ING’s data policies, European data regulations and local regulatory requirements.
  • Acting as the subject matter expert for all Trade-related data.
  • Developing, improving and maintaining dashboards and reporting to give clear insights into Trade performance and risk.
  • Overseeing data compliance across 14+ IT assets, ensuring data controls, quality and governance standards are met.
  • Performing data analytics to identify trends, risks and opportunities for optimisation.
  • Maintaining and updating the Trade data model, working closely with engineering and data platform teams.
  • Collaborating with Risk, Compliance and Legal to ensure Trade stays audit-ready and aligned with regulatory expectations.
  • Supporting the Delegated Data Officer on governance, documentation and control topics.
  • Sharing knowledge and best practices through presentations, workshops and process documentation.
You bring
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured, methodical way of working.
  • Solid analytical capabilities and affinity with data.
  • Experience with data analytics, reporting and dashboarding tools.
  • Confidence in working across business and technical teams.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to simplify complexity and maintain resilience under pressure.
