The team
Analytics Platforms and Data Products’ DAP Customer Success Team:
DAP Customer Success (CS) is the bridge between the APDP (Analytics Platforms and Data Products) Tribe and our internal customers. Through our Data Analytics Platform (DAP Next) we enable ING to bring use cases from sand box to gold mine on our platforms. We keep the customer at heart and bring the customer’s voice back to the tribe.
Roles and responsibilities
As ING’s analytics products and capabilities grow across our global entities, we need to communicate effectively with our customers over various internal channels. We are looking for a IT intern to work closely with ING Analytics' DAP Customer Success Team, to create documentation and dashboards for our internal customers.
Documentation Creation and Review:
- Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation for data analytics processes and tools.
- Review and update existing documentation to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Collaborate with team members to gather information and document best practices.
Dashboard Development:
- Design and develop interactive dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Ensure dashboards are user-friendly and provide valuable insights to stakeholders.
- Maintain and update dashboards as needed to reflect the latest data and requirements.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Assist in data collection, cleaning, and analysis to support various projects.
- Generate reports and visualizations to communicate findings to the team.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on data insights and strategies.

Qualifications / experience required:
- Completion of the last year of your bachelor’s or preferably master’s studies in IT Tech, or a relevant field.
- Junior developer (portfolio of work is a strong advantage).
- Creative, structured, proactive, and eager to propose new ideas.
- Eager to learn, diligent, and result-driven (“get things done” mentality).
- Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written.
- Interest in Advanced Analytics, AI, and Big Data is an advantage. Experience with Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
Preliminary requirements:
- Applicants will need to be registered as a student with an educational institution for the entire duration of the internship
- Please note: to do an internship at ING, you must be either an EU national or a non-EU national enrolled in an educational institution in the Netherlands
