Your work environment

Real Estate Finance NL (REF NL) services their real estate investment customers directly in four regions: North West, North East, South West and South East, e.g. in Amsterdam, Arnhem, Eindhoven and Rotterdam. The regional offices are supported by REF NL’s operations team. Latter team is centrally organized in Amsterdam and is structured in squads. REF NL is considered to be the principal Dutch real estate lender, and our real estate knowledge is appreciated throughout the real estate investor market. You will be part of a small Chapter and work together with other squads in and outside of REF NL to create an unbeatable customer and employee experience.

Your responsibilities:

• Build and maintain automated credit decisioning models in production, including implementing changes in the model scripts with updated business rules, fixing bugs in case of issues, etc.

• Design, analyze and interpret business hypothesis and explore datasets

• Further professionalize the Data Governance in the broadest sense

• Knowledge of analyzing large data sets and their quality (knowledge of statistics and machine learning techniques is a plus)

• Support and design data model and data definition

• Develop a data quality program to improve data quality

• Data analysis and data processing

• Validate business ideas regarding visualizations / predictive algorithms

• Assist users to understand the data science principles and when needed provide possible correcting actions.

• You are familiar with coding in Python, SQL, Java, Bash, Git

• Experience with popular frameworks such as NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Pytorch, and Pyspark.

• Familiarity with LLM, ChatGPT API, Gemini, and deep learning algorithms is a pre.

• You have excellent oral and written communication skills at technical and business level.

• You are fluent in English, Dutch is a pre.
