We are looking for you, if you:

  • have proficiency in Go programming for API development and maintenance,
  • have experience in designing and implementing REST APIs,
  • possess strong understanding of CI/CD principles and practices,
  • have hands-on experience with Windows Server 2019 administration,
  • have working knowledge of OpenShift container orchestration platform,
  • have solid networking knowledge and understanding of network architectures,
  • have hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices,
  • have proven experience in system design and modeling,
  • have ability to clearly and succinctly express ideas, facts, and opinions,
  • can adapt to new situations and alter behaviors to work effectively,
  • can complete tasks and achieve results in an efficient, timely, and high-quality manner,
  • have English level B2/C1.

You'll get extra points for:

  • experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration but also Windows as well,
  • experience with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines,
  • knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes),
  • experience with Azure DevOps,
  • familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack).

Your responsibilities:

  • design, development of new API solutions using Go language,
  • maintenance and enhancement of existing APIs,
  • deployment and management of applications on OpenShift,
  • implementation of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform,
  • contribution to CI/CD pipeline development and optimization,
  • use various technologies on top of Redhat Enterprise Linux and Windows Server,
  • build and improve monitoring/alerting and observability across services and automate tasks throughout the platform lifecycle, eg: Prometheus, Grafana, ElasticSearch, Logstash, Beats, Kibana,
  • optimize infrastructure and phase out legacy systems
  • collaborate with development teams to understand needs/provide enablement and drive adoption of best practices,
  • improve system reliability/delivery speed and reduce time to market through scalable platform solution,
  • contribute to platform architecture, documentation and internal tooling,
  • support internal customers and troubleshoot critical production issues across platforms and applications as required,
  • carry out production deployments, identifying and patching bugs and reducing inefficiencies,
  • automate change management framework,
  • enhance business continuity procedures and run disaster recovery scenarios,
  • provide 24x7 coverage (weekends and evenings) for standby duty on a rotational basis with other team members.

Information about squad:

We are creating new team which would consists of 4 senior engineers. Team will be located in Poland. We have internal client as the product is used by other engineering teams. As a team we build scalable platform and software solutions to empower teams to access cloud resources in a reliable, secure and compliant way.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Engineer III".
