Event expert for the Campus Event Team

The team
The Campus Events team is (including you) a team of two Event Experts plus one intern. We work closely together with the Employer Branding team and the team of Trainee managers.
We’re responsible for attracting talented students to our internships, starting positions and traineeships. Moreover we support ING’s recruitment marketing towards the Young Professionals target audience. This includes creating content and writing LinkedIn posts.
Roles & responsibilities
It’s your job to ensure that ING is positioned as a top employer in the Young Professionals market by organizing in-house recruitment activities and external events with partners such as student associations.
You are responsible for analyzing the needs of ING and of the Young Professional target audience. You organize events to position ING as an attractive employer. Those events can include in-house days, workshops, lunch lectures and presentations. You have lots of freedom to put your own stamp on events and to think of new and innovative concepts.
Your stakeholders are not only external, you also collaborate with many ING teams. For example, advising or preparing colleagues for events and inform them about talent attraction.
How to succeed
You are enthusiastic, energetic, and able to convey your passion about working at ING and the company culture, through content writing and presenting. You have good planning and organizational skills. You thrive on setting up events and thinking up new branding activities. You’re a team player and enjoy maintaining contact with stakeholders, student associations and students.
Besides:
· You have a bachelor’s degree, for example in Marketing, Communications or Human Resources
· You have experience of – or an affinity with – organizing events
· You are fluent in Dutch and English (both written and spoken)
· You are flexible due to the nature of this role.
