First-line Manager/ Chapter Lead in Data Area

• You know what best-in class recruitment process, effective onboarding, good year evaluation and people management are and you are open to improve them,
• You have background in Data & Analytics.

You will get extra points if:

• You know SAS,
• You are fimiliar with Agile

Your responsibilities:

• Leading the team of Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Business Analysts,
• Responsible for the development of craftsmanship – how a job should be done
• Guards the realization of the vision for the product from the perspective of future skillset needed,
• If necessary, you are not afraid to roll-up the sleeves and help your chapter members,
• With your experience in data management, you will share knowledge and make sure team members have appropriate competencies and skills needed now and in future,
• Planning, recruiting, onboarding new team members and planning their learning and development paths,
• Make sure that the team results are of the highest quality by coaching, assessing team members and by establishing standards,
• You will collaborate closely with other departments and teams within the ING and work closely with them to achieve common goals.

Information about the team:

You will be part of the Data & Reporting area within Data department which is part of global COO Risk. This area is also a part of Risk Hub – a business unit which main aim is to shape the future of risk modelling and data science in Poland. As part of global tribe Data & Reporting, we support data deliveries for Model Development teams.

You will become a Chapter Lead of the team of data analysts, data scientists and/or business analysts. Each chapter member is assigned to one of the squads in global Data & Reporting Tribe or global Data Operations Tribe. Therefore, you as Chapter Lead will work closely with Product Owners, Product Leads and collaborate with them how to deliver the maximized value for ING taking into consideration technology, competencies, quality of our work.

Line Manager: on this position you will report directly to Area Lead PL Data & Reporting
