Front-End & Backend Developer (Java, Bloomreach)

We are looking for you, if you:
- have proven experience in web development, including both front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and backend (Java, Bloomreach) technologies,
- are familiar with version control systems (e.g., Git),
- have bachelor's degree in computer science, Web Development, or related field,
- have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail,
- have excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
You'll get extra points for:

Your responsibilities:
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications and backend services,
- write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript for the front end, and Java, Bloomreach for the backend,
- optimize website and application performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth user interactions,
- implement responsive designs and ensure compatibility across various browsers and devices.
- integrate backend systems and content management solutions using Bloomreach,
- troubleshoot and debug issues across both front-end and backend, providing timely solutions,
- stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in both front-end and back-end development.
Information about the squad:
We are seeking a skilled developer to join our IT team, specializing in both front-end and back-end technologies. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing our digital environment, with a focus on delivering seamless user experiences and robust backend solutions. You will be working in multicultural environment with other ING specialists.
If you are passionate about creating user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and have experience with backend development in Java and Bloomreach, this role is for you. We value tech-savvy professionals who are curious about new digital technologies and eager to learn.
