Head of Corporate Sector Lending Netherlands
ING Wholesale Banking is the corporate banking segment of ING Netherlands . The Team Head of Corporate Sector Lending is responsible for the CSL teams in the Netherlands and acts in close cooperation with other Lending teams, sector, risk and product stakeholders.
Your tasks and key responsibilities
By example, with expertise, esprit, and a hand for networking – you lead your team (c30-35people), colleagues, and the overall Lending performance in the Netherlands to new levels of excellence in this role spanning across Corporate Sector Lending as well as the broader Wholesale Banking Lending domains.
You drive the local Lending product proposition whilst ensuring regulatory compliance at all times. With the customer experience in mind, you are a commercial excellence role model, bring knowledge sharing between teams to a new level, but also take charge of data quality of the local lending portfolio. Under your leadership, the Lending team will focus on Lead Lending mandates and on contributing to Lending Sustainability targets.

You will ensure close alignment with stakeholders of designated sector / segment (both local and global as applicable) and act as first point of contact for sector/segment-lending related questions or activities.
You will be a part of the Lending Management Team and contribute to develop coordination, excellence, and orange code within the lending teams. Your hierarchical line will be the Head of Lending
As a senior leader, and a member of the Lending Management Team, you will also play an important role in helping to deliver on the strategic priorities of the bank, both locally and in the broader ING across the bank’s geographic footprint

You will be responsible for coaching, training, and supporting the personal development plans of your reports;
Your Profile
min 10 years work experience in the banking sector, including a proven track record in originating and executing complex lending transactions (a.o. LMA documentation, cashflow based financing)
Management expertise in a commercial environment Track record in driving employee engagement and acting as trusted partner to stakeholders
Strong commercial drive paired with sound risk awareness, credit judgement and analytical skills
Mastered complex financial analysis and are considered an expert in lending structures, market trends and developments
Great communication skills and organizational sensitivity with ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment and to embrace change
You have proven experience in actively participating in the design and implementation of transformation projects
You are passionate about driving a high performance, customer-centric and results-focused team
