Head of Lending Small Business & Business Intermediaries
We are looking for a Lead Lending for Small Business & Business Intermediaries, and become part of the Leadership Team Easy Banking, an ambitious team, responsible for the sales to Self-Employed & Micro (SEM) businesses and business intermediaries such as financial advisors, accountants and bookkeepers. The department is structured along the 6 areas: Marketing, Digital sales for fee products, Digital sales for loan products, Digitization & CX, Population management and Remote Advice.

What you are going to do
In this role you will be responsible the sales of lending products, like term loans, overdrafts and financial lease, towards small business and in collaboration with business intermediaries. You make it possible for small business owners in The Netherlands to grow and manage their business with the help of business credit. You will be leading 3 teams of 13 FTE in total split towards Digital Sales (5 FTE), Remote Sales (3 FTE) and Business Intermediaries (5 FTE).
To be successful in this role it is important to provide strategic direction, have a strong focus on commercial performance and manage the stakeholder field throughout the entire DBNL organization.
You will be working on different topics like:
Sales performance: You manage the quantity and quality of sales leads and sales conversion per channel. You are data driven and eager to dive into details to improve the micro conversions. For the sales performance you closely collaborate with the product departments (Business Lending and Lease) and the Remote Advice sales teams.
Digital sales: You have strong customer and data driven mindset towards customer journeys and their digital sales funnels. Together with the team you constantly improve the performance marketing, looking into things like campaigns performance SEA, SEO and CTR. Hence, attracting traffic to the ING Business website (organic/paid), provide relevant content and facilitate orientation towards application journeys.
Strategy & Business development: Further build the ‘Easy Banking’ lending proposition whereby a suitable offering needs to meet the needs of Self-Employed and Micro companies. Not only creating a strategic answer on the rise of non-traditional competitors, but the actual execution as well.
Business Intermediary: You take the lead in the development of the business intermediary proposition, the relationship management towards key intermediary chains and other relevant market parties. In addition, you take a leading role to fully utilize the sales potential of the new intermediary service model.
Represent the Self-Employed and Micro clients: You speak up and represent small business in a wide range of stakeholders discussions including pricing and credit risk.
