Know Your Customer (KYC) is still one of the top priorities and is one of the Must Win Battles defined in the Wholesale Bank (WB) Strategy to become “The Best Wholesale Bank in Europe”. The Proxima Program was installed early 2024 to realize an efficient and effective Customer Due Diligence (CDD) process to keep the bank safe and secure by balancing customer, compliance and employee centricity. The Program is on top of current Business as Usual (BaU) efforts of the WB Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) team to have focus on longer term structural solutions.

You will play a key role in the supporting the People & Culture agenda. Our people are the fundament for all CDD reviews. We cannot do without them. When our staff feels empowered, valued and heard they can make real impact. A strong employee experience drives stronger client value. And this culture of excellence, we create together.

One of the next steps is identification and implementation of a culture which manages “growing as team”, we need to grow to a culture where we collaborate as part of the full end-to-end process: “ONE GOAL – ONE TEAM”.

Therefore as part of the Proxima Program we have:

  • Set the WB CDD Principles for our way of working
  • Run a pilot with Productive Conversations sessions to further improve collaboration and
  • Run employee satisfaction survey to validate if we are on the right track.

To support the team, we need you as well.

Training program

For support in the set-up of the planning and trainers pool, streamlining the training sessions and in between reporting and evaluation of the training program.

Employee satisfaction survey

To assist in the employee satisfaction survey – in the rollout, the analysis of the results, the report out and in report back to the survey participants.

Rollout of the WB CDD Principles

As helping hand with the rollout of the WB CDD Principles for the way of working; think about writing news articles, coordinate and potentially support in creation of video content, scheduling brainstorm sessions, creating meeting minutes and actions list and the follow-up.

The team
You will support the workstream lead People & Culture and will work very close in the training program with the trainer(s). Hands-on engagement - aligned also with your interests – will set the working environment.

You will benefit from regular check-ins with your mentor, who will provide guidance, feedback, and support throughout your journey.

Since the workstream is part of a broader program, you will join the full project team – consisting of the program manager, 5 workstream leads and ~8 dedicated project consultants besides other ING colleagues supporting the change.

There are 5 workstreams that enable us to deliver upon promise.
