ING
Internship Campus Events
Are you a creative and enthusiastic student with a passion for event planning and making others enthusiastic? Do you dream of making a real impact by attracting top talent for ING?
We're looking for a social intern who enjoys taking responsibility and wants to join our dynamic team of two other Campus Event Experts!
This is what we do
Through Campus Events, many students have their first introduction to ING. We are responsible for attracting talented students to our internships, starter positions and traineeships.
It’s our mission to ensure that ING is positioned as a top employer in the Young Professionals market by organizing in-house recruitment activities and external Events with partners such as student associations and Universities. We are organising around 80+ campus Events a year all over the Netherlands. We have a lot of freedom to put our own stamp on events and to think of new and innovative concepts.
Besides working closely with external partners, we collaborate with many different teams across ING. This internship offers a great opportunity to expand your network and gain exposure to a broad range of professionals.
What you'll do:
Help us position ING as a top employer for young professionals.
Take the lead in organising engaging campus activities together with HBO institutions.
Collaborate on exciting events, webinars, and workshops throughout the Netherlands.
Analyse intern needs and develop innovative concepts to attract and retain young talent.
Use your creativity to organise fun activities for fellow ING interns as part of the Intern Board.
Writing a thesis? We are happy to discuss possibilities to combine your thesis with this internship.
Who you are:
A go-getter in your 3rd or 4th year of an HBO/WO in Hospitality Management, Leisure & Event Management, Communication, International Business or a similar field.
You have experience of – or an affinity with – organizing events
You are enthusiastic, energetic, and able to convey your passion about working at ING
You have excellent communication, planning and organizational skills.
You’re a team player who enjoys maintaining contact with stakeholders, such as colleagues, other ING interns, students and Universities.
Fluent in Dutch (C1) and English (B2).
Bonus points: You have humor, curiosity, and flexibility!
Rewards and benefits
This is a great opportunity to train with highly skilled people who are experts in their field. You’ll do a lot and learn a lot – not only about your specialist area and the bank, but also about yourself and whether this type of environment is right for you.
You’ll also benefit from:
A 5–6-month internship (1 semester), starting in September 2026
A competitive internship allowance of €700 per month for a 36-hour workweek.
Flexible scheduling and hybrid working, allowing you to balance your studies with your internship and make time for your thesis.
The opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and make a real impact at ING.
A chance to be part of a fun and supportive internship community.
During the duration of your internship at ING, it is mandatory to be enrolled at a Dutch university (or EU-university for EU passport holders).
