If you want to work at a place where you will make an impact on developing ING Wholesale Banking’s (WBs) strategic service offerings, where we endorse a proper engineering culture, and where we believe that the sky is the limit to where we can be in the future, please read on.

The Opportunity

ING is looking for an experienced IT Area Lead to strengthen its Wholesale Banking Lending organization. Our strategic direction is to create a fast, seamless, personalized & data-driven digital Lending experience for borrowers, ING employees, investors, and regulators.

We aspire to develop & build the next generation data sharing models and disclosures fueling growth and valuable timely insights towards our users/consumers to have the best customer experience in the market.

The Team:

In the scope of this opening, the area lead will be responsible for managing software solutions catering for the end-to-end Lending data (/models) for Wholesale Lending customers across 40+ locations.

This is a challenging area due to the high degree of complexity in aligning business demands of Lending with the Wholesale data strategy as well as ING data strategy. Also, it has heavy delivery demand due to the regulatory nature of most disclosures. At the same time, this is an Area which will directly impact the wholesale ambition of being data-driven and being compliant towards European Central Bank requirements and local regulations. Within the Tribe, we re-design and digitize our end-to-end customer journeys to significantly improve our user and customer experience while staying regulatory compliant as well. The tribe consists of five areas: Loan Origination & Monitoring Ratings & Financials Loan Admin & Channels Collateral & Availability Data Offering & Readiness

This position is for you to lead the Data Offering & Readiness area. As an IT Area Lead of this space, you will report to the IT Lead of Lending within the WB Tech organization of ING. Within this area, we have a couple of initiatives which will contribute to making the lending data accessible and reported in an easy and controlled manner behind the digitalization agenda of the other areas. This area will also enable insights fueling further business growth on top of the end-to-end lending data. We do this by rethinking and replacing current legacy data-sharing patterns and tooling with new technologies while ensuring compliance with policy and regulations by design.
