Roles and responsibilities

You will become a Chapter Lead within the Omnichannel Digital Provider Channel Capabilities department, focused on the web frontend technology stack.

Along with the IT Area Lead and your fellow IT Chapter Leads you;

  • Collaborate within and across squads
    • You can collaborate within the squad on coding, architecture, continuous improvement, structured problem solving, agile way of working and/or any other way that adds value
    • You participate in DevOps rituals when needed (e.g. daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives & peer reviews)
  • You use your seniority to maximize individual and team performance
    • Motivate, coach, and evaluate performance of chapter members
    • Ensure engineers work and deliver according to our quality standards
    • Together with people in your environment, create the right ‘smell of the place’
    • Ensure development and evaluate performance of Chapter members
    • Support recruiting of talents (e.g. interview applicants)
  • Together with colleagues (engineers, chapter leads & Agile coach), determine the working methodology within your area of expertise, allocate specific knowledge/focus areas, set the standards and ensure it is executed correctly
  • Work with the relevant stakeholders on resource planning, IT solutions and delivery
  • Create the environment for continuous feedback, coaching and mentoring of the Chapters
  • Support all chapter members with the required operational matters
  • You have strong knowledge and are seen as a leader in the Web-Frontend Stack. Drive innovations and have a clear vision on how to continuously develop and innovate the FrontEnd eco-system.
