The team
As a member of the ING WB TS Account & Cash Management domain, you'll be part of a team developing scalable, resilient, real-time banking processes. Our team thrives on innovation and collaboration, working together to enhance the customer experience for ING’s digital treasurer customers. You’ll work alongside business customer journey experts, solution architects, and other DevOps colleagues in a multidisciplinary, agile environment.

Roles and responsibilities

• Develop and maintain our cash management solution as part of a multidisci plinary autonomous squad.
• Work in an international environment, collaborating with team members from various backgrounds.
• Build next-generation banking applications using Java, API technology, and private cloud environments.
• Ensure continuous delivery and deployment through automation and CI/CD pipelines
• Stay updated on the latest industry standards and best practices.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and follow the agile way of working.
• Transfer knowledge within ING by conducting presentations, workshops, and documenting new standards.

We are looking for a motivated, self-managed Java DevOps engineer who will further improve our digital transformation journey and make our customer experience a fantastic voyage. We look for someone with modern-day essential engineering skills like innovation, creativity, attention to detail, communication, and much more. Our solution has a front-end web application, Java APIs, and SAP Banking services as core backend.

• At least 2 years of hands-on Java programming experience.
•  Knowledge of Java development frameworks such as Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Junit.
• Understanding of API technology, OAuth, PKI/certificates/TLS (preferred).
• Experience with (test) automation, continuous delivery, and deployment tools and pipelines.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines as CI/CD.
• An agile mindset and adaptability to constant changes.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with customers.
• Fluent English speaking and writing skills.
