ING
Junior Stress Test Analyst
TRM CEG is a global function within ING Financial Risk that deals with the measurement of counterparty credit risk exposures and portfolio risk-monitoring activities.
Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) is high on senior management and regulators’ agendas. Fast-evolving regulations require the industry and ING to implement and comply to new requirements. Stress testing is a key part of these requirements.
The new squad will work in close collaboration with other squads within Exposure Management, a.o. the CCR Pillar I squad, the Pillar II EAD squad and the FRTB-CVA squad, as well as the MRM Stress Testing squad. With CCR stress test tooling and framework is mostly under development, there is also going to be a lot of interaction with IT and other support teams (e.g. market data, policies, FO, counterparty credit risk managers, etc). Having, in addition, a high visibility with senior management, the function therefore provides various channels for further career development.
Working alongside a group of knowledgeable experts, you have the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in credit risk (i.e. XVA, collateral, counterparty credit risk), and to gain exposure to all derivative asset classes traded by FM.
Role responsibilities will mostly focus on stress testing deliverables but might extend to other CEG areas, depending on the team’s priorities & needs. Main responsibilities will involve:
Participate in designing stress test scenarios and stress test reports;
Participating in the design of a CCR stress test methodology and usage;
Delivering periodic as well as ad-hoc stress reports, and presenting those reports;
Interacting with the team’s stakeholders;
Specifying requirements;
Ad-hoc requests.
Support the broader deliverables of the CEG team as required.
