The Team

Global Infrastructure and Engineering (IS&E) brings together the foundational infrastructure services and tooling that support our engineering workforce. Our purpose statement is: “We facilitate and empower our awesome engineers to build, integrate, and run IT platforms and business products in combination with the ING Banking Platform to enable the creation of our Global Bank.

Within IS&E, the Consumer Enablement area is dedicated to empowering our engineers with the tools and resources they need to succeed. This includes providing access to comprehensive training materials, facilitating collaboration across teams, and ensuring robust support for our engineers.

Our Knowledge Management (KM) team plays a crucial role in this mission by capturing, organizing, and disseminating knowledge throughout the organization. The team, comprising Learning and Development Experts and Technical Writers, ensures that our engineers have the information they need to perform their roles effectively and efficiently.
 

Mission
We are seeking a passionate and tech-savvy Learning and Development Specialist to design, develop, and deliver engaging training content, including video-based trainings, face-to-face trainings, and interactive training materials, for our I&E employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, stakeholder management, and training content creation, with a keen eye for video editing and collaboration with subject matter experts.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality training resources tailored for the engineering department, including topics like SQL, Oracle, NGINX, etc.

  • Utilize instructional design methodologies to create effective and engaging learning experiences.

  • Work closely with experts to guarantee the accuracy and relevance of training materials.

  • Actively engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.

  • Use industry-standard software to edit and produce video training content.

  • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Learning and Development.

  • Make sure all training content aligns with the organization’s objectives and goals.
     

How to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Learning and Development, or a related field.

  • Strong experience in instructional design, adult learning theories, and training program development.

  • Proficiency in creating training content, including video editing with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Adobe After Effects.

  • Excellent project management, organizational, and collaboration skills, with experience working in an agile development environment.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with engineers and internal teams.

  • Tech-savvy mindset with a passion for leveraging technology to enhance learning experiences.

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
