We are looking for you, if you:

  • have a knowledge of LINUX (RHEL 8) and troubleshooting 
  • have experience with Ansible,
  • knowledge of monitoring and alerting tooling or knowledge any of the following (Prometheus, Graphana, Elasticsearch),
  • have experience with automation of manual activities (testing, deployment) using Python/bash 
  • have experience with infrastructure administration,
  • love to deep dive technology, searching for root causes of issues and come up with structural solutions,
  • are a team player, persistent, service oriented, customer centric, eager to learn.

English level - B2,

You'll get extra points for:

  • have experience with Azure pipelines,
  • experience of SAS 9.4,
  • knowledge of security standards.

Your responsibilities:

  • Linux and Windows maintenance - maintenance and automation, trouble shooting, patching (VM and BM), permission management,
  • Automate routine tasks and ability to optimize code and infra,
  • Delivering the CI/CD pipelines, automation, tooling, resilience and security necessary for smooth feature delivery of our customers applications,
  • Operational responsibilities (incident/service management and compliance).

Information about the squad:

FunTec is an international team of highly qualified SAS experts and DevOps engineers. You will join a team maintaining a bank-critical platform based on complex technologies, maintained by an independent team. The main platform is based on SAS 9.4., but you will also work with technologies such as OracleDB, DevOps Pipelines. FunTec supports the roll out ING Model Risk Management framework which scope covers all models within ING Bank worldwide. The FunTec team onboards and maintains platform dedicated for data developers, modellers and analytics. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who would like to join us, strengthen the team with technical skills and a positive attitude.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Engineer II”.
