Model Risk Specialist
We are looking for you, if you:
have a quantitative degree and experience in Data Analytics,
are a Risk professional with hands-on Risk Reporting experience in SAS MRM tool, Python coding or equivalent custom tools/products,
have automation experience in Python/VBA
have experience in quantitative analysis, report design and execution,
you are design thinking and process oriented person ready to contribute in reporting landscape improvement changes
Data Quality governance and monitoring experience
Ensure features delivery (Planning, coordination, dependencies management):
you are and feel responsible for the end-to-end integration and realization of the solution change delivery work (across teams). You oversee progress and coordinate the dependencies and address impediments across the whole chain,
you identify (and manage) risks and potential issues and offer improvements across teams,
you identify and manage dependencies for features and epics across different teams.
Ensure complex Model Risk Management initiatives are translated into business requirements, specifically requirements for reporting measures to enhance MoRM steering mechanism:
you are able to translate new procedures, reporting needs into required model inventory solution and requirements,
are results-oriented, committed to high standards and quality of work,
have an excellent English verbal and writing skills,
are a good listener and interviewer, receptive to the feedback from the stakeholders,
are prepared to travel occasionally,
have strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities,
You can communicate effectively with both peers and senior stakeholders
are transparent, open-minded and value diversity and inclusion.
In-depth knowledge of Model Risk Management Framework principles

Operational agile in Power BI or other data visualization platforms

Your responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement model risk reporting measures, including enhancements to existing metrics
Leading and contribution in workgroup, streams for project execution
Knowledge sharing with reporting process contributors
Propose reporting enhancements and reporting function capabilities increase
Preparation, execution, and analysis of model inventory landscape reports
Contribute to the ING entities efforts in responding and reporting to regulatory bodies, collecting requirements for designing dashboards and reporting tools
Support/Guide local model community in execution of the model life cycle activities and steering model risk measures at portfolio level
Data quality assurance contribution within global model data inventory, by monitoring execution through reporting process
Performing an in-depth model risk metrics analysis and reporting
Active collaboration and assistance with model risk inventory enhancements

Model Risk Oversight (MRO) is responsible for the design and implementation of ING’s global Model Risk Management (MoRM) framework and tooling across all models used within ING Bank worldwide. The tribe aims to proactively manage model risks by guiding global and local communities in the execution of the model lifecycle activities, performing effective and efficient 2nd Line of Defence (LoD) challenge and oversight across ING’s model landscape, monitoring and reporting on model risks. MRO is an energetic, international team of highly qualified Model Risk Experts, Business Analysts, and Data Analysts/Programmers. MRO is developing and rolling out the new Model Risk Management (MoRM) framework which scope covers all models used within ING Bank worldwide. To further strengthen and manage the model risk management activities, MRO expands within Risk Hub of ING Hubs Poland. The Risk Hub Model Risk Oversight Chapter supports/guides global and local model communities in execution of the model life cycle activities, together with Global MRO team facilitates oversight, monitoring model risk, assessing and governing model inventory data quality, and reporting for global/local entities. We are looking for Model Risk Experts to support Model Risk Management by enhancing steering mechanisms, extending reporting capabilities and contribute to various framework related projects. The expected salary for this position: 9 600 - 18 000 PLN gross monthly
