NFR Specialist
ING WB NFR is looking for a pro-active and enthusiastic Non-Financial Risk professional. As a mid-level member in the WB NFR Products team, you challenge and advise management of Wholesale Banking (WB) product organizations (excl FM/GT) and their value chain partners on NFR risks. WB products include the Lending Value Chain, Sectors, Capital Markets & Advisory and Transaction Services Value Chain. Risk management activities will be performed in close alignment with risk specialists from the Group risk teams.
This role reports to the NFR Global Lead – WB Products
Roles and responsibilities
You will challenge and advise (local) business on NFR risk exposure and adequacy of risk management in relation to WB Products, including (but not limited to) identifying and assessing risks, monitoring the remediation of risks, challenging the first line in speedy and accurate operational risk event reporting, reviewing product approvals on behalf of NFR, evaluating 1st LoD’s NFR deliverables, as well as playing an integral role in the bank’s critical change programs.
You will represent NFR in relevant committees and decision-making platforms
You will perform cross border oversight on NFR risk management of WB products / activities, in your scope

Your technical skills and track record
You have relevant knowledge of Non-Financial Risk and preferably a working knowledge of WB products
You have excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work across risk areas and geographical lines
You have an excellent level of English (verbal/written)
You have a university degree or equivalent
You are an experienced professional with >5 years of relevant experience
