The team

Group Credit Risk defines ING’s credit risk strategy—aligning lending practices with risk appetite and regulations—while centrally managing credit restructuring and safeguarding the bank.

Global Credit Restructuring (GCR) is globally responsible for a safe, compliant and data driven credit loss process by finding solutions for clients in financial difficulty and by closing the learning loop on lessons learned.

The Credit Risk Insight, Appetite and Provisioning team includes two sub-teams – Credit Risk Insight and Appetite, and Credit Risk Provisioning, all based in the Netherlands. The team works closely with stakeholders across Risk (i.e.e.g. Integrated Risk), Finance (i.e.e.g. Group Finance), and COO (i.e.e.g . COO Risk, Data Management) domains.

Roles and responsibilities

In your role as Personal Assistant you will support the Global Head of Credit Restructuring and the Head of Credit Risk Insight, Appetite and Provisioning, located in Amsterdam. In your role as Personal Assistant you will support the leads to ensure they can focus on their core responsibilities and increase their effectiveness. You will have a close working relation with the department Business Manager and cooperate with the other personal assistants covering each other during absences to ensure that the Leadership Team always are supported.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Diary, Outlook Management & Communication

    • Coordinate, organize, and schedule meetings while managing the agenda effectively. Evaluate the priority, sensitivity, and objectives of meetings, travel requests and day-to-day activities. Monitor reminders for appointments and ensure timely follow-up on action items. Manage the inbox by prioritizing emails, responding promptly, and ensuring that important messages are addressed in a timely manner. Additionally serve as the primary point of contact and maintain both internal and external professional relationships.

  • Operations & Coordination

    • Deliver comprehensive support for business travel, meetings, media engagements, conferences, seminars, receptions, and anniversaries. Oversee budget expenditures related to events and hospitality. Communicate directives from the Leads and ensure their effective execution and follow-up.

    • Organize team events and offsites, if needed.

  • Administration

    • ​Operate a range of administrative systems, for example Sayso, Sherpany, Workday, MyWorkplace, One Identity, Ibuy and E-profit in accordance with existing compliance rules. Collect, record, and archive all relevant documents in (electronic) files. Distribute information in an appropriate and timely manner.

  • Meeting Management

    • If needed prepare, share, take minutes, and manage team meetings.

  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in a secretarial/supporting role;

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English;

  • You master the most commonly used office programs / applications such as: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and are willingness to learn new ones if required;

  • Management identification and discipline with excellent communications skills with all levels within the company;

  • Integer and able to deal with confidentialities and organizational sensitivity;

  • Planning and organizing;

  • You are proactive, enthusiastic and eager to learn.

  • An extended screening (CSI) is part of the hiring process.
