Personal Assistant
We are looking for a driven and experienced Personal Assistant for the department head of KYC Services & Operations.
KYC Services & Operations is a department within ING NL Retail and employs a couple of hundred people.
The department is diverse, with teams working in operations to handle KYC case files, while others focus on client experience, policy, procedures, software development, data management, process improvements, reporting and oversight.
FCP collaborates closely with various internal and global stakeholders, including ING Global, Compliance, Data Management, Legal, and others. With the shared goal to ensure ING NL Retail remains compliant with regulations such as anti-money laundering (AML) laws.
In this role, you will support the head of FCP NL department and where required, his/her senior leadership team. KYC is a high-priority topic in the financial sector, and as a result, it is a dynamic environment whereby you will cooperate with the business manager of the department head, his/her leadership team, but also for example KYC leads in The Philippines, and the assistant of for example ING’s COO.
Roles and responsibilities
In your role as a Personal Assistant, you will support the Head of FCP in the Netherlands. The office is located at the Bijlmerdreef, Amsterdam and it is required to be at the office at least 2 days per week. It is important that you are visible and approachable. That you feel actively involved, and act proactively. Responsibilities include:
- Manage agenda: daily scheduling of appointments and proactively maintaining the agenda. Assessing priority, sensitivity, and purpose of appointments.
- Perform various administrative duties.
- Make travel / accommodation arrangements.
- Supporting the arrangement and planning of events.

Furthermore, you have:
- Experience in a similar role as a Personal Assistant.
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English language is essential, and you are currently residing in the Netherlands.
- Mastery of the most used office programs and applications such as MS Office and Workday from the start or shortly after.
- The ability to prioritize and work efficiently.
- The ability to work independently and solve problems through your solution-oriented attitude.
- The ability to build networks easily with other PAs to work effectively and efficiently.
- The ability to manage cultural differences and handle highly sensitive and confidential information.
