The Relationship Manager Private Wealth (RSM PW) is the strategic point of contact for the relationship. As an RSM PW, you work within the South West region together with the Account Manager, Investment Specialist, Credit Specialist and Financial Planner.

The RSM PW is an acquisitor, networker and team player with in-depth knowledge of and interest in high net worth relationships. The RSM PW contributes to the growth ambition by increasing the share of wallet of existing PW relations and is also responsible for acquiring new high net worth relations from the internal network, as well as centrally generated leads by the acquisition team.

The RSM PW is a skilled and reliable discussion partner for both customers and colleagues and is able to identify holistic customer needs and introduce the right specialists to these relations and prospects. At least 1/3 of the customer conversations (excl. telephone) take place via video conversation. The RSM PW reports hierarchically to the Regional Lead PW. Your place of employment is Rotterdam.
 

The role and responsibilities

Together with the team you are responsible for realizing the growth of the Assets Under Management, the income, the number of relationships and customer satisfaction.

  • Your focus is on PW relationships with a maximum of €5 million invested capital in advice/management or a maximum of €3 million in financing (excl. home financing).
  • You make an above-average contribution to the acquisition of new PW relationships, including through centrally generated leads and internal networks.
  • You independently submit investment proposals up to €2.5 million of invested capital.
  • The primary focus is on uncovering (latent) needs in combination with fulfilling the role of trusted advisor from both a private and business perspective.
  • You proactively develop and maintain internal and external networks.
  • You are an active part of the prospect/relationship ecosystem.
  • You are responsible for proactive quality and risk management in the field of customer acceptance and revision, including recording, and you act in line with internal and external laws and regulations.
  • You identify holistic customer needs and conduct strategic customer conversations.

Specific knowledge and experience

  • At least 5 years of proven relationship management experience with high net worth individuals.
  • Academic working and thinking level.
  • Demonstrable acquisition and sales skills.
  • Team player.
  • You have a highly developed professional judgement
  • Knowledge, experience and diplomas in the field of asset structuring, investing (DSI Advisory) and lending (WFT Mortgage Credit), FFP of MFP.
  • In-depth knowledge of taxation, family governance, philanthropy and private equity.
  • In addition to exhaustive knowledge of both corporate and retail banking products, you also have experience with the ecosystem of relationships and associated non-banking solutions.
  • You are able to conduct remote customer calls effectively.
  • You live in the South West Region and maintain a relevant ecosystem in The Hague.
