What are you going to do
As a Relationship Manager Real Estate you are responsible for the customers in the South-West region of the Netherlands. You work from our office in Rotterdam and/or from home. You are responsible for the customer relationship in the broadest sense and take the lead to optimally meet the customer's needs. You work together with, among others, lending specialists and you prioritize team interest over self-interest. Your focus is not limited to real estate financing only, as you will also have an eye for cross-selling other ING services and products. To maintain your networks well, preferably you live in the area you work in.

Your responsibilities and talent
As a Relationship Manager, you possess good origination skills. You are creative, enthusiastic, and entrepreneurial, and have the intrinsic desire and skills to step out of your comfort zone and approach new, large prospects in your own way and bring them in. Additionally, you effectively move in different networks. Moreover, you have sufficient knowledge of digital networks and actively use them to profile and brand yourself through various social media.
You are a true dealmaker who goes 100% for the optimal result for both the customer and the bank. As a Relationship Manager, you are an expert sparring partner for the customer. You understand the customer's strategic agenda down to the last detail and can translate it into accurate and concrete advice for the customer. You have an excellent sense of what drives the customer, you have courage, you engage in substantive dialogue, you dare to give feedback, and you can make connections with people and ideas. You work well in a team, either as a team member or as the deal coordinator, but you also excel when working independently.
Apart from that, you have:
an HBO or university degree
at least 4 to 5 years of relevant work experience in the banking industry or in areas such as Real Estate or as a debt adviser. Work experience in the banking industry is considered an advantage.
are able to conduct strategic discussions and think conceptually.
knowledge of and experience with approving financing.
an excellent command of spoken and written Dutch and English.
