It is home to our Capital Treasury, executes of our digital ambitions and omnichannel offering, creates a unified approach to our customer data management, and ensures a timely delivery across WB’s tribes. The latter also includes the delivery of our regulatory commitments, to keep our customers and financial markets safe.

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst for ScopeLab

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the redevelopment of credit risk models at ING by ensure that scope of the ratings systems is correct. To ensure regulatory requirements are met new standards, systems, methods, and concepts are developed along the way. This includes new scoping framework and central data storage called ScopeLab which assigns all non-retail client to the correct rating systems based on data-driven rules. As a Senior Business Analyst you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of this new scoping framework. You will work in multinational, multidisciplinary squad composed of business analysts, engineers and a product owner focusing on implementing ScopeLab.

What does the role require?

  • You define and implement improvements to ING credit risk frameworks and its applications, with a specific focus on data processes and data consumption;

  • You support in delivering structural improvements in the data delivery process;

  • You set detailed requirements for data suppliers, data stewards on behalf of data consumers;

  • You support development and testing of application that services model development and monitoring practices; and

  • You closely liaise with your stakeholders such as the delegated model owners, model development and the product owners of related data labs.

  • Keen interest in credit risk data and affinity with associated model redevelopment processes;

  • Understanding of customer types, exposure classes, model decision trees, collateral;

  • Knowledge of key concepts credit risk model (e.g. PD, EAD and LGD);

  • Preferably, have a solid understanding of the ING organisation (know your way)Excellent command of both written and spoken English; and

  • Know or desire to grasp ING systems such as SAS, Vortex, Vantage, Credit Risk Dashboards, I-Model, I-Risk and MISOB.

Furthermore, we are looking for a candidate with the following attitude and competencies:

  • You are a team player used to working with multi-disciplinary teams;

  • You have strong investigative and analytical skills;

  • You can monitor data, run scenarios and act upon short term deliverables;

  • You can act within complex stakeholder environments and grow in this role;

  • You are self-supporting and have knowledge of excel and/or SAS; and

  • You are a clear communicator with robust writing skills.

We are a team with a hands-on approach. A flexible attitude, which enables you to work simultaneously on different assignments, is required to fulfil this position.
