Senior Transaction Services Cash Advisory & Structuring Expert

As a Senior Cash Advisory & Structuring Expert, you will play an active role in working with the TS Sales teams in the ING network to advise on complex transactions and structure Pan-European Payments & Cash Management (PCM) solutions for Corporate Clients. You will also be involved in answering Requests for Proposal (RfPs) and Requests for Information (RfIs) for our clients and delivering top quality customised proposals as well as participating in / leading  different projects and initiatives with the aim to empower the TS Sales organisation to deliver best PCM services to the Wholesale Banking customers.

Activities comprise all products in the TS domain of Payments & Cash Management (PCM).

You will work in an international team of 24 energetic professionals across 4 locations (with Amsterdam and Bratislava being the main ones), experienced and with an extensive network in different areas of ING Wholesale Banking, wide variety of background. You will work in an environment where you are expected to find PCM opportunities to drive cross-sell and share knowledge about solution driven thinking. From good to best, transparency, collaboration and being supportive is what drives this team in work and social activities.

The team works in hybrid mode. On average 2-3 days in the office. Wednesday is a team day in the office. Very flexible taking into account personal and commercial commitments.

You will be a key player in the TS Sales process and this will require a combination of strong client focus, communication and analytical skills and knowledge of international TS PCM solutions.

• You will actively support the Sales teams in the ING network with complex transactions and with the structuring of Pan-European Payments and Cash Management solutions for Corporate Clients
• You have in-depth product knowledge of solutions, legislation and market trends required to advise and support the in-country Sales teams
• You have in-depth knowledge of corporate treasuries and their PCM related processes
• You will be responsible for supporting the in-country Sales teams with RfPs and RfIs and for producing top quality multi-solution proposals for strategic/key clients
• Jointly with the in-country Sales teams you will develop sales strategy towards clients, prepare client pitches and beauty parades
• You will translate clients wishes towards Commercial Product Management and take part in preparing business cases for new PCM propositions
• In this role you will actively liaise with the in-country Sales teams and with Commercial Product Management to share best practices and ensure knowledge transfer
• You will jointly with Sales prepare and participate in client advisory workshops around a wide range of PCM and treasury related topics alongside market trends
• You will work with a wide range of stakeholders, mainly TS Sales colleagues in the network, TS Commercial Product Management , Sector Coverage  and ING’s international network
• You will work closely with the colleagues in the TS Competence Centre in Bratislava

• Higher education (HBO) or University education (Bachelor or Master degree) preferably in Economics, Accounting or Finance
• Excellent level in written English (near- native knowledge) and strong verbal communication skills
• Preferably 7-10 years of work experience in Transaction Services in the areas of Payments & Cash Management
• Knowledge of PCM products e.g., Account structures, Payment Factory solutions, Pan-European  Cash Management solutions, Notional Pooling, merchant acquiring, deep knowledge of treasury processes and market trends
• At ease with managing time-sensitive projects with many stakeholders
