We are looking for you if you:
- have over 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or category management, including managerial responsibilities of team minimum 10 employees for more than 3 years,
- have experience in recruiting and starting up teams with transitioning operational activities into central location/team,
- are passionate about leading teams and building capability through coaching and development.
- capable of working in a dynamic environment where you can drive innovation and continuous improvement,
- are confident in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships to deliver optimal value,
- can balance stakeholder needs and build effective cross-functional partnerships,
- possess strong analytical skills and financial acumen to support strategic decision-making,
- communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing,
- hold a Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
You will get extra points for:
- demonstrated success in leading process transitions, change initiatives or transformation projects,
- advanced skills in process mapping, creation of process documentation or workplace instructions,
- proven ability to manage large procurement programs and contract portfolios,
- high proficiency in negotiation and supplier management.
Your responsibilities will be:
- recruit and start up new team of approximately 20 to 25 procurement specialists,
- participate in procurement process transition from Netherlands to Central Hub Team,
- support trainings and growth of newly created team,
- support knowledge transfer process and procedures' creation,
- establish cooperation with Global Procurement functional line as well as main stakeholders under new Target Operating Model,
- lead a team of sourcing and category management professionals, setting standards and driving excellence,
- manage procurement programs, vendor selection, and contract negotiations for medium-sized categories,
- act as a trusted business partner to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals,
- develop and implement policies and procedures within your area of expertise,
- monitor operational compliance and performance, taking corrective actions when needed,
- drive engagement and accountability within your team to achieve business objectives,
- identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in sourcing practices,
- provide strategic direction and communicate the function’s goals in alignment with the broader mission.
