Our sales teams are regionally divided into four regions responsible for SME and MidCorp segments, where self-employed and Micro clients are served centrally.

This ambition is enabled by our delivery tribes in collaboration with Easy Banking, Products, Guided & Relationship Banking. Within our tribes, work is done to improve the customer journeys of products (and services) that are related to each other. For example, the further development of the lease products is done within Tribe Lease, the business credit products within Tribe Business Lending, etc. Tribe Digital deals with Customer Data and IT-related Digital Channels.
Your key responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Business Banking NL, the Tribe Lead Digital will be an integral part of the Business Banking NL leadership team. You will directly manage the Product Area Leads from the Tribe and will closely collaborate with the Tech counterparts to ensure seamless delivery and strategy execution. Collaboration with the other Business Banking teams like Easy Banking, Guided & Relationship Banking and product verticals, including Lending, Financial Services, Payments, Real Estate Finance, and Transaction Services, is essential to ensure a consistent approach, foster alignment, and steer towards creating the best customer experience.
The focus will be on delivering according to the strategy & roadmap, while maturing the capabilities within the tribe. This role is key in driving a seamless execution & ensure a relentless customer centricity.
Therefore, you will:
- Define the Tribe’s product direction based on the ING Strategy and Business Banking Strategy specifically
- Challenge and continuously keep track of external market/industry capabilities to fuel innovation in end-to-end processes.
- Deliver seamlessly significant digital capabilities for the Business Banking customers and support digital transformation of retail segment through tribe’s value spaces and squads.
- Deliver a safe and secure customer experience, compliant with relevant internal and external rules and legislation.
- Demonstrate visibility and proactive stakeholder management at local & global level.
- Be responsible for implementing change initiatives with focus on profitability and efficiencies.
- Be accountable for asset and data ownership within the Tribe, guaranteeing the functionality and quality of all applications and related data.
- Be hierarchically responsible for Product Area Leads, Product Leads & Customer Journey Experts across the Tribe. Close functional alignment with Tech is needed. You will manage the P&L for the Tribe.
- Collaborate very closely with the Product Teams like Lease, Real Estate Finance, Commercial Finance, Transaction Services, Lending & with Easy Banking.
- Be directly responsible for the availability and functionalities of multiple business assets and direct people management of related value spaces.
- Actively coach and encourage colleagues to further develop a digital mindset and delivery capabilities, creating a safe environment to speak up and inspire.
- Be involved in the global business banking initiatives around best practices, knowledge sharing and co creation of business banking channels and global solutions.
- Deliver on the four pillars of our customer promise: Easy fast and predictable, Digital and personal, Effortless handling and Proactive and relevant, together with Easy, Guided & Relationship & the products.

- 10+ years’ experience in relevant banking areas with a preference for experience in digital leadership roles and at least 2 years in a management position in driving and inspiring multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven track record in directing and implementing strategic and cultural transformations. Expertise in strategizing delivery plans and executing significant change roadmap.
- Strong customer centricity approach.
- Ability to steer & build a high-performance culture.
- A competent conversation partner for a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Focus on output, drive collaboration and possess a proactive and collaborative mindset.

- A salary tailored to your qualities and experiences;
- A salary between € 9,872 and € 15,557 gross per month based on 36 hours;
