Chapter Lead Data Platforms
We are looking for you, if you:
are passionate about working with people and developing talents of others make you fulfilled,
have at least 3 years of experience in team management,
have sound knowledge of Data, Analyticsi and/or AI domains,
have experience with development and/or maintenance of data platforms.
English level - C1.
You'll get extra points for:
experience with development of complex analytics platform(s),
experience with software development,
knowledge on Data Governance,
experience and knowledge on agile way of working,
professional certification related with data management and/or AI,
strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities,
independent, creative and pro-active mind-set,
understanding of Public Cloud services.
Your responsibilities:
share knowledge and make sure team members have appropriate competencies and skills,
planning, coaching, assessing and professionalizing your team members,
recruiting and onboarding new talents,
make sure that the team results are of the highest quality,
interaction and relationship management with Projects stakeholders,
proactive research and acquiring of new (data related) initiatives within ING Group,
support for Product Managers in terms of business and platforms development,
participation in global events due to marketing of teams Products and Culture, mainly because of talents acquisition.
Information about the squad:
The Data and Engineering area is an international team of about 70 (growing) highly qualified professionals. Our expertise lies in the development and management of Data and Analytics Platforms. We are participating in development of ING Global Platforms related with analytics, big data, data science and data governance as well as development of Engineering Journey platforms (IT4IT). Our platforms operate on Private, Public and Hybrid environments. Our squads autonomy and end to end responsibility is key for us, so we support Data Ops, SRE and Agile principles.
The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Chapter Lead Engineer III”.
