Resilience Manager – Global ODCR
The ongoing regulatory demands in the financial services industry mean ING must increase its efforts to ensure a compliant and future-proof organisation which delivers safe and secure processes, resilient enough to withstand the challenges ahead. Within ODCR, the department Resilience & Continuity will focus on realizing the specific external requirements around Operational Resilience. All current Business Continuity Management activities across COO will be consolidated into this department accordingly.
The team is looking for an experienced Resilience Manager with a strong focus on Crisis Management. You will contribute significantly to our goals to ensure business continuity, in both governance as operational tasks. The scope of the Crisis Management activities are the business lines residing in the Netherlands, as well as the bank-wide crisis management organization.
Your role and work environment
As part of COO Operational Design, Control & Resilience, the team Resilience & Continuity is pivotal for our success. You will work in an enthusiastic international team consisting of 11 colleagues (7 based in NL and 4 colleagues based in ING Hub Slovakia) to meet the objective of the Resilience & Continuity team: to contribute to a successful delivery of ING's Operational Resilience strategy. Keeping the bank safe, secure and compliant is the core of what we do. Our team is very ambitious, but we also find it very important that we work together in a pleasant and friendly manner. Activities the team members are working on include:
· Defining, implementing operational resilience strategy, focusing on Global Business continuity management, Global Crisis management, Global Incident Management, and Resolution;
· Giving clear instruction and information of the operational resilience strategy and framework on bank level towards all entities;
· For the Netherlands, maintaining the crisis management organization structure for both the bank as the over-arching country crisis management organisation
· Coordination during crisis situations on both strategic level (crisis management team) as coordination of Crisis Support Teams on execution level
We are looking for:
· A proven track record in experience in similar roles on resilience, business continuity and crisis management
· Relevant certification regarding BCM (CBCI, MBCI, ISO22301, etc) is a pre
· A strong personality who can take an active lead during (pre) crisis situations
· Hands-on mentality, problem solving mindset, team player
· Willing to work outside office hours
· Good communication skills in English, Dutch speaking is a pre
